User
Section Features
Listing of Classifieds by
Categories and Subcategories
Allows directory wise browsing of all classifieds
based on a category that is selected. The classifieds
listing will span across unlimited pages showing 10
classifieds per page.
Search
Search functionality will be provided to search for
a particular classified. This will be full text search
that will be conducted on the title and description
of the classified.
Mail a Classified to Friend
This opens a Pop-up window and will allow mailing
the link to the description page of a classified to
the provided email address.
Reply to this Classified
This will open a Pop-up window and will allow the
user to reply to the classified. This will not require
any login and it will be mandatory to provide an email
address
Post Classified / Edit Classified / Delete
Classified
This will require a user to login or signup in case
he is not a registered user. The user will be shown
the above three options distinctively using which
he can post a new classified. He will also be shown
a list of existing classified posted by him. Using
the links Edit Classified or Delete Classified he
can accomplish respective jobs.
Duration of Classified
This field will be required to set the duration for
which the classified is visible on the site. We will
need the data on various time limits
Bad word Filter
This tool will be integrated with the description
and title area of the classified so that the user
cannot post any abusive or banned words.
What’s New?
This section will be displayed on the home page.
It will show a list of 10 recently added classifieds
with a option so that a user can view all the newly
added classified during the particular week.
What’s Hot?
This section will be displayed on the home page.
It will show a list of 10 classifieds with maximum
number of hits.
Other Features:
1. All classifieds will need approval of the admin
of the administrator before becoming live
2. Classifieds will also show number of hits
3. Classifieds will also have the ability to upload
a picture
4. Users can also renew expired classifieds
5. Change password option will be provided
6. Password recovery via secret question will be
provided
General Admin Details
Password Management
Admin will have the option to change his password
User Management
Admin can Add, Edit or Delete information about any
user
Classified Management
Admin can Add, Edit or Delete any classified. All
classifieds will need the approval of the admin before
going live. In case Admin declines a classified the
user will be notified that his classifieds has been
declined. If the classifieds becomes live then also
the user will be notified.
Bad Word Filter
Admin can Add, Edit or Delete words that cannot be
used in this site
